Our Story
Finding inspiration to make requirements analysis easy, fun and engaging
Like any other startup, our journey began many years ago with a wish to make requirements analysis work more fun, engaging, and effective. In autumn 2019, we started developing a digital platform for requirements management, which later became known as ReqTangle. The name ReqTangle is a play on words based on the expression "Requirement Tangle"—referring to disorder in requirements. Our mission with ReqTangle is to do the opposite: to bring clarity and structure to your requirements.
The idea for ReqTangle was shaped by Demet Ukus and Buket Ukus, twin sisters with extensive experience in requirements analysis and management. Together, they have designed the product they felt was missing in their careers—a solution that moves away from boring and time-consuming manual tasks, and eliminates repetitive meetings caused by missed attendance. ReqTangle makes requirements management easier and more stimulating in preparation for system development, with a strong focus on what we call story capture.
